We will start our morning with stillness and meditation before moving into a smooth slow flow aimed at easing tension and restoring ease to your being using gentle strength, stretches and massage balls. After a little break and nutritional treats, the second half of the morning will be long held stretches in the style of Yin Yoga, to open up space in our bodies and minds before heading into the rest of the day.

Andagift
Andagift - a creative inspiration, the Spirit’s Gift or the Gift of Breath in Icelandic - is a gentle, embodied workshop that invites you to explore your relationship with breath and your body.
This is not a traditional breath-work session. Instead of controlling or manipulating the breath, we focus on the felt sense of breathing, how the breath moves the body and where it meets resistance.
This workshop offers a slow and mindful approach to unwinding tension in the muscles and fascia that support breathing with slow melting stretches, self-directed massage using therapy balls and soft balls, and guided meditation. You will be led to soften holding patterns, improve mobility and create more space for your breath to move naturally.

Innsæi
(inn-sigh-ay), the ancient Icelandic word for intuition, can mean the sea within, to see within, and to see from the inside out. This is an invitation to dive into all three through the living intelligence of fascia and the subtle vibrations of your voice.
The workshop weaves together slow movement, melting stretches and self massage to release deep set tension and support greater ease and freedom of movement. Your awareness is gently encouraged to turn inwards, becoming a pathway to listen more deeply to yourself and fine tuning your inner anchor, your intuition.
Suitable for all levels. No prior yoga or voice experience is needed, only curiosity, openness and a willingness to listen inwards. -
Move - Melt - Release - Listen - Resonate
Exploring Resonance
Our body and voice are in constant flux with each other. When our body feels tight and stiff, so does our voice. When we do not voice our thoughts or speak our truth, the tissues of our body respond by layering up and tensing inwards. With the tension and stress building in the body, we loose the ability to feel and communication within breaks down.
This will be a practice where you are invited to explore the areas of your body that support your voice through fascia focused yoga and self directed massage.
The emphasis will be on listening to sensations and resonance, to experience presence of tension and release and allow for habitual holds in the body to soften so the vibrations of your voice take roots in the wholeness of space within.

Beyond the Mat
Every class is an opportunity to practise something much bigger than movement.
As we learn to notice sensation, listen to and understand the body's signals on the mat, we begin to build a relationship that extends far beyond our practice.
We notice when we need rest before exhaustion arrives - and we begin to honour that need.
We recognise tension before it becomes pain - and know how to take a step back.
We learn to pause before reacting.
Over time, the body becomes more than something we exercise. It becomes a trusted guide in how we move through everyday life.
